3 comments I put together Aurza, a dark blue centric theme, named after a wallpaper I made a few years back with a similar color scheme. I tossed it together using the new Dreamweaver Theme Generator.

9 comments A lot of the traffic coming to HighOnPHP has been looking for Dreamweaver Themes. Apparently, it is a very hot topic. We decided to take it one step further, and create an Online Theme Generator, that will generate an XML file with the colors of choice for CS and above versions. Currently, only PHP and HTML are supported, but in the next generation update, we will expand the supported languages further.

4 comments Here is a second theme, named dTR after some recalled memories of a Return to Castle Wolfenstein clan, ‘Doing Things Right.’ The clan tags were bright and vibrant, just like this theme. Bright color for variables and reserved keywords, and dull colors for strings and constants. This one really helps you focus.
Below, I have included a few screenshots of PHP, but it supports CSS, HTML, Javascript and XML.
Note: Colors are a bit more brilliant than what the screenshots show.

I am going to be working on an installer but for the time being follow these steps:
%USERPROFILE%\Application Data\Adobe\Dreamweaver CS5.5\en_US\Configuration\CodeColoring\~/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Dreamweaver CS5.5/en_US/Configuration/CodeColoring/
The background color will need to be set to #0F1D20 or whatever you would prefer via the Preferences window.

16 comments There are a lot of IDE’s out there when it comes to programming. Each IDE has it’s own syntax style defaults, and they are not always pretty. Along side of being pretty, it needs to be calming, relaxing and readable. I used to use Dreamweaver simply for the built in SVN+SSH, SFTP/FTP and Syntax Highlighting capabilities but since move to Zend Studio.
Since I’ve recently been getting in touch with my GIT side, I stumbled upon their online editor and thought it was gorgeous! It gave me inspiration for a new Dreamweaver color scheme. Below, I have included a few screenshots of PHP and XML. The font I use on my Windows machine is called ‘Anonymous Pro’, which can be found on FontSquirrel.
On my iMac (SplugBox), I use one called Terminal Dosis, from Pablo Impallari, the designer of Lobster.

I enjoyed making this theme, and plan on making some more in the future. I have even began drafting a Dreamweaver Theme Generator, to let folks easily choose complimenting colors.
